Habitat for Humanity of Omaha | Women’s Power Luncheon

2021 Women's Power Luncheon cancelled

May 19th, 2023 – 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Hilton Omaha

The annual Women’s Power Luncheon is an opportunity for Habitat Omaha to celebrate its mission with the community. During the luncheon, we will honor and recognize our Power Woman of the Year, Honorary Chairs and Power Partner for their expertise, time and resources. Funds raised support Habitat Omaha’s Women Build House and mission. Women Build is a national initiative to provide safe and decent homes for families in need. You can transform others by recruiting, educating and inspiring those in our community to fundraise and build. The Women Build spotlights the homeownership challenges faced by women and addresses these issues head-on through the power of women across the community. Since 1997, Habitat’s Women Build has provided the opportunity for thousands of local women to join together to help construct and renovate homes with local families.

Honorary Chairs: Dan and Kelly Houghton, Buildertrend Co-founder & CEO

Dan Houghton is the co-founder and CEO of Buildertrend, the leading software for residential construction project management. Under his leadership, Buildertrend has experienced significant growth since its founding in 2006. Buildertrend’s world-class software offering has led the construction industry, notorious for late tech adoption, into the modern age.

With a reputation as a people-driven leader and champion of strong workplace culture, Dan believes in an open-door policy and is known for his motivational speeches. Dan is heavily involved in the community and serves on the Board of Directors for the Omaha Community Foundation, Nebraska Tech Collaborative, Omaha Chamber of Commerce and Habitat for Humanity of Omaha. He is also director and lead local investor of Union Omaha USL Soccer Team. Dan lives in Omaha with his wife Kelly and daughters Barrett and Ella.
