Women Build Kickoff

Please join us for Habitat for Humanity of Omaha’s 2023 Women Build kick-off on Tuesday, March 21! This volunteer service opportunity recruits, trains and empowers women to make a difference in their community by building safe, energy-efficient and affordable homes.

Habitat Omaha’s women are pioneers in construction. About 25 percent of Habitat Omaha construction crews, more than double the national average, are made up of women. This event kicks off our Women Build and Women in Construction Month and leads into our Women’s Power Luncheon in May. It celebrates our women volunteers and staff leadership, dedication, and a pioneering spirit to make a difference in their community by building safe, energy-efficient, affordable housing. They also energize and create momentum for young women to enter the construction field for future generations
