Generational Wealth Clinic – Bellevue

FreeAt Habitat for Humanity of Omaha, we know that homeownership is the key to a family’s financial future. Yet, many homeowners are unaware their most valuable asset may not go to their intended loved ones because of inaccurate paperwork.
That is why Habitat Omaha is partnering with Legal Aid of Nebraska to help ensure homeowners have more control over the future of their home and the family benefits that can accrue from that asset.
Habitat Omaha and Legal Aid of Nebraska will host a FREE Transfer on Death Deed Clinic on June 24 in Bellevue. Additional clinics will be held later this year at additional locations.
Legal Aid of Nebraska volunteer attorneys will help prepare individual Transfer on Death Deeds that participants can sign while at the clinic. A valid form of identification is required to complete documents at the clinic.
After registering, Legal Aid of Nebraska will contact you to confirm income eligibility and schedule a 30-minute time slot at the clinic. No walk-ins will be accepted.
Registration is required and is open until June 16th or until capacity is reached.
For anyone needing assistance signing up for the clinic, we are happy to help. We are hosting several intake events. No sign up necessary, please feel free to show up.
