A stable home big enough to fit her family was Nyachoch’s goal. With five children and one granddaughter, Nyachoch knew she had to find a five-bedroom home to keep her family together. Now, almost two years later, Nyachoch looks at her home with pride.

Habitat Omaha submitted testimony in support of Legislative Bill 163 which would help increase affordable housing by providing benefits to housing developers for voluntarily restricting rent on a small percentage of units in multi-family rental residential projects, thereby adding more affordable homes to our city’s housing market.
