How Habitat Omaha serves

Douglas County

Habitat Omaha is reimagining the possibilities for more affordable housing in our community. Through the years we’ve learned it takes more than building a house. We’re building communities.

Current Developments

Bluestem Prairie, located at 51st and Sorensen, will offer affordable homeownership opportunities for families of various sizes, ages and incomes. The first phase of new homes are expected to be complete by 2025. The Bluestem development will open doors for those typically excluded from traditional housing markets and strengthen Greater Omaha.
