When supply chains collapsed during COVID and construction costs skyrocketed, most builders passed the cost to homebuyers or stopped building altogether. The affordable housing crisis got worse. The gap between dreams and reality grew wider.

Habitat chose a different path: we rethought our entire approach to homebuilding.

Last year, while others talked about the housing crisis, we put 78 new affordable homes on the map in Douglas County alone. More than any other developer. Not because it was easy, but because it was necessary.
