Habitat Omaha celebrated our partnership with Tyson Foods, helping their team members obtain mortgage readiness through Habitat Omaha’s Workforce program

Last week Habitat Omaha hosted an event with Tyson foods to celebrate our Workforce Housing partnership. A total of 30 Tyson team members have become mortgage ready of which 10 have already purchased their new homes. 

Members of the Tyson management team took some time to learn more about affordable housing. Habitat Omaha CEO Amanda Brewer gave the neighborhood tour and shared information about Omaha’s affordable housing needs.  Tyson is dedicated to seeing its team members succeed at having access to safe, affordable housing.

The Tyson team had decided that the program was a success for their employees and have decided to fund another year of the program for their team members. Thank you, Tyson foods!
