Young Professionals members help make Habitat Omaha’s visions for more affordable housing in the Metro area a reality –through community volunteering, advocacy and fundraising efforts.

What Omaha Habitat Young Professionals Do

Omaha Habitat Young Professionals (HYP) is a diverse volunteer group using their talents to share the vision of Habitat more broadly.

Member Benefits:

  • Networking opportunities: Connect with like-minded young professionals who share a passion for community service and making a difference. You can participate in home builds, repair projects, event organization and fundraising efforts. HYP members also enjoy social events and activities together.
  • Educational Opportunities: Gain valuable skills by leading volunteer projects and participating in advocacy campaigns. You will learn more about affordable housing and how homeownership can make a positive ripple effect through communities and generations.
  • Annual Individual Membership Cost: $45 – Join any time throughout the year, open to all individuals over 18 years old.
