For 25 years, the Habitat ReStores have been a special place because of shoppers like you — people who care about affordability, sustainability, and community. We’re incredibly grateful for the role you’ve played in that story.

We want to share that Habitat for Humanity of Omaha has made the thoughtful decision to sell both ReStore locations to experienced local thrift operators. This change allows Habitat Omaha to focus all of our energy on what families in our community need most right now: building and repairing homes and advocating for affordable housing solutions.

The good news is the ReStores are not closing. They will continue operating under new ownership, offering affordable finds and keeping quality items out of landfills. Current ReStore employees will have an opportunity for continued employment with the new company, which was very important to us.

Thank you for shopping with purpose and supporting a mission that has helped build stronger neighborhoods for decades. We hope you’ll continue to shop local, reuse often, and cheer on Habitat Omaha as we work to help more families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through housing.
