Steve and Amy Lindsay share a deep commitment to service, community and family. Steve is an Omaha native and a graduate of Marquette University. Amy grew up on the East Coast and graduated from the United States Naval Academy. The two met while Amy was stationed in Omaha, where they built their lives together around their shared passion for giving back.
Habitat for Humanity of Omaha was one of the first organizations they supported as a couple and remains central to their philanthropic involvement. Steve served as board chairman of Habitat for two years, helping guide the organization’s mission and growth, while Amy served on the ReStore Committee and continues to volunteer with Habitat builds.
In addition to Habitat Omaha, Steve and Amy are actively involved with several other organizations, including Kicks for a Cure, Avenue Scholars, Partnership 4 Kids, and Completely KIDS, among others. They are the proud parents of three children and continue to emphasize service as a core family value, instilling in their kids the importance of compassion, leadership, and community engagement.
