Get Involved: Flood Relief Efforts
Habitat Omaha is a registered Crisis Cleanup relief organization. We have begun mobilizing staff, partners and volunteers to aid with initial flood relief efforts, as well as home repairs and rebuilding that are soon to follow.
Spread the Word: Crisis Cleanup Hotline
For free flood cleanup assistance, call 833-556-2476.
Encourage those impacted by the flood to call the Crisis Cleanup Hotline to be connected with reputable relief agencies, like Habitat Omaha, who can assist with home cleanup, including cutting fallen trees, removing drywall, installing tarp roofs and more.
Volunteer: Get Involved
Our Flood Relief Task Force is in place and is mobilizing volunteer groups to help with projects focused on cleanup and clearing out flood-damaged homes, including carpeting and drywall.
Current volunteer opportunities:
- Team Rubicon
Efforts will likely include cleaning and mucking out houses
- Sarpy County Multi Agency Resource Center (MARC)
Serve as an ambassador, help escort flood victims through available resources
- Heartland Hope Mission
Help hand out food and pantry items to those in need
- Omaha Rapid Response
Assist with disaster clean-up efforts
