Habitat Omaha Young Professionals Event
Join us October 15th from 4:30-6:30pm for our Habitat Omaha Young Professionals event at our Construction Warehouse!
Are you interested in building your skills while giving back to the community? Habitat for Humanity of Omaha welcomes self-directed young professionals to work on their own projects and learning goals in our Woodshop.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who want hands-on experience with woodworking, construction techniques, or tool usage while supporting Habitat’s mission. Habitat Young Professionals will have access to the Woodshop environment to practice skills, complete approved personal projects, and learn alongside experienced Habitat staff and volunteers. Your time in the shop also helps support the creation of housing materials used in affordable homebuilding across the Omaha community.
What You’ll Do:
- Work independently on approved woodworking or skill-building projects
- Learn and practice safe use of tools and equipment
- Gain hands-on experience in a professional, mission-driven woodshop
- Support Habitat’s housing efforts through skill development and production
