N95 Respirator Donation

We’re all in this together

Right now, we’re reminded more than ever that we’re all in this together. That was the case in mid-March, when we learned that local healthcare providers were in need of N95 respirators. While we use these respirators on our construction sites, we know our medical professionals need them, too. In their time of need, we donated 38 cases—totaling 7,600 masks—to Methodist Health System.

It felt great knowing that they would be put to good use here in our community. But, we had no idea that a small act to us, would mean so much to so many.

After we made our first donation of respirators to Methodist Health System, we completed a full inventory of our personal protective equipment (PPE) and found that we had more to give. Our team was honored to be able to donate additional N95 and N100 respirators, Tyvek suits and nitrile gloves to CHI Health, UNMC and the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System.

As we confront this moment together, we’re reminded how important community is right now, and how great it feels to lift each other up through acts of kindness—big and small.

The work our healthcare providers are doing is as important as ever. And it was a true honor to play even a small role in helping to make sure they can continue to do their jobs safely. It’s also a reminder to keep looking out for one another and seeking ways to help—both big and small.
