Helping our community through Habitat ReStore

Omaha’s Habitat for Humanity ReStores are discount home improvement outlets that sell new, used, and surplus merchandise. We carry everything from new and gently-used furniture, appliances, plumbing supplies, and cabinets, to flooring, paint, doors, windows, lighting fixtures, and so much more. The inventory is constantly changing, making each visit unique.

Our South Habitat ReStore, located a block south of 24th Street on Leavenworth, first opened its doors in 2000. In August 2012, Omaha’s second Habitat ReStore opened near 108th and Maple Streets. Our West Maple Habitat ReStore is also home to our popular Market, where shoppers can find upcycled and hand-made home decor from local vendors. The newest addition is our online e-Store featuring items from both stores.

You may know Habitat ReStore as a place where you can shop for and donate home goods. What you might not know about is our Deconstruction Program, where we work with home and business owners to help salvage quality materials from renovation projects and properties set to be demolished. Habitat ReStore staff facilitate the deconstruction donation, with labor provided by either the contractor or our partners. The donated items are then sold through Omaha’s Habitat ReStores.

All proceeds from Omaha’s Habitat ReStore outlets support the work of building and renovating Habitat Omaha homes.
