Habitat for Humanity of Omaha’s Home Journey program offers a free, personalized path to homeownership. We help families set goals and create a plan to become mortgage-ready, making your dream of owning a home a reality. All Habitat homeowners participate in this program before purchasing a house through Habitat.
Habitat Omaha provides no-interest loans to seniors and other residents in the Greater Omaha Area for essential home repairs. Approximately 150 residents benefit annually, receiving assistance to complete various home improvement projects, including heating, roofing, plumbing, electrical and exterior renovations. The program is open to all homeowners who qualify, regardless of whether you own a Habitat home.
Habitat for Humanity of Omaha, in partnership with Legal Aid of Nebraska, offers Transfer of Deed Upon Death (TDD) events to help homeowners ensure their property is passed on to their chosen beneficiaries. Learn how and why to take the vital step of protecting your family’s financial future with accurate and legally sound documentation.
