It is not a coincidence that JE Dunn’s impressive growth in the Midwest, and its strong support of Habitat for Humanity of Omaha, started soon after Doug and Chris joined the company more than a decade ago.

Doug Duren is Vice President and Senior Client Solutions Director at JE Dunn Construction and has over 35 years of corporate business development experience. Doug ensures the JE Dunn team provides clients with a positive experience and unparalleled service. Throughout his career, he has supported countless community boards, programs, and committees. He loves the city of Omaha and is passionate about contributing to the area’s growth in any way he can.
Ellen Duren began her career at Mutual of Omaha. She then moved on to Central States of Omaha (CSO) where she started and managed their Small Group Underwriting Division. After a long career at CSO, she made the commitment to stay home to raise her and Doug’s three kids, Emily, Jack and Tom. Once the kids were grown, she reinvented her career and is now the office leader for Tom Manley Floors, Inc. Doug and Ellen have been married for 36 years.
When not at work or in the community, you can find them spending time with their three kids, two daughters-in-laws and two loving grandchildren.
After 25 years in construction management, Chris Pesek has experience in just about every part of the industry. He currently serves as Senior Vice President and Office Leader for JE Dunn’s Nebraska and Iowa markets. He’s passionate about supporting his community and enriching lives through the spaces that JE Dunn builds.
Jennifer Pesek has spent the last 24 years in the healthcare industry. She has spent many years as a practicing Occupational Therapist in the Omaha metro and most recently as a Therapy Consultant for Nevro Corporation, a spinal cord stimulator device company. Both roles allow her to use her talents to help others heal and improve their quality of life.
Chris and Jennifer have been married for 25 years. When not at work or in the community, you can find them supporting their three children Ella, Lauren and Jack at their various events.
