A volunteer with her back facing away from us wears a t-shirt that says “future homeowner.” She and four other volunteers wear hard hats while working on building a home with Habitat Omaha.

Who We Are

Habitat for Humanity of Omaha is dedicated to:

Improving the quality of life, wellbeing and financial independence for families in the Omaha Metro Area. Habitat Omaha develops, builds, repairs and sells affordable homes.

Mission

We build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.

Vision

A world where everyone has a quality, safe and healthy place to live.

Together

Together, we work.  Our work impacts every area of a family’s life–housing, health, safety, educational outcomes and financial stability.  And this positive impact continues to grow with each generation.

No matter who you are or where you come from,

Everyone deserves a safe and secure place to call home.

A Habitat home can…

…provide a foundation for strength, offering a secure environment for families to be themselves.

…bring stability, ensuring that children and families have a consistent place to grow and learn

…foster self-reliance by giving families the confidence and resources to build
