I would like to take my community involvement to the next level and become a better servant of the community. I am passionate about Habitat for several reasons. First, I believe in the mission. Affordable home ownership leads to many positive things for families and our community - things that affect our kids and future generations. Giving families hope, confidence and a sense of belonging only strengthens our communities. Secondly, Habitat is something my family could also participate in with me. I would not only be helping other families, but at the same time enriching my own. Lastly, I grew up building houses and I am constantly remodeling my own house. What better way to give back to the community than by utilizing my talents and doing something I love.
