Help Choose Where We Will Build
World Habitat Day serves as a reminder of the more than one billion people around the world who are without a simple, decent home. In honor of World Habitat Day 2010, Habitat for Humanity of Omaha is having a one day virtual build. Through our Tithe Program we hope to build as many homes as possible in one of the following countries: Bangladesh, Bolivia, Madagascar or Uganda. Vote now to help choose where we will build these homes. On October 4 donate to help build them. If you would like to Donate Now please choose "World Habitat Day" in the "Allocation" menu.

NBA Player Kyle Korver Volunteers with Habitat Omaha

Former Creighton Bluejay basketball player Kyle Korver, who is now with the Chicago Bulls, spent half of Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Omaha. Every year Korver takes time to return to Omaha to give back to the community. Once again Korver and several of his friends and Kyle Korver Foundation supporters helped build a new Habitat Omaha house. This year the home was located on North 18th Street.
